Please arrive 5-10 minutes in advance of the start time. This gives your child ample time to enter the building, change into gym shoes and be ready to get on the court without feeling rushed or stressed.
Kids in this program arrive dressed and ready to play in gym clothes (shorts or leggings and a Tshirt). We will be active and moving our bodies. Indoor running shoes offering good support (laces) are a must. Please have your child BRING their shoes with them to change into courtside. Outdoor running shoes will not be allowed on the court at any time.
There are only 2 requirements: a water bottle (filled with water), and a positive attitude! Kneepads are recommended for this session.
We are going to do so many fun things! At each session, we will have team warm-up and stretching, skill development and games to support that learning. We will incorporate positivity and team building into all that we do.
This one is purely personal choice, but you may want to give your child a light snack or meal before they attend each session, instead of a heavy dinner, as we will be doing a fair amount of physical activity like running, jumping, bending, sliding etc.
Parents can stay to watch their child at practice, but it is not required. They will be fully supervised during their session and only be allowed to leave with yourself or the list of designated family/friends you indicated on your registration form at the end of the day.
