Thursday Night Adult Rec Volleyball

Looking for a fun way to get back into volleyball? Our Adult Rec Volleyball program is the perfect opportunity to play, meet new people, and refresh those long-forgotten skills. Whether you’ve played before or just want to get active in a social, welcoming environment, this program is for you. We’ve designed this drop-in program to be enjoyable for everyone, no matter your skill level.

Program Details:

• When: Thursdays from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM
• Where: 290 Park Street, Victoria Harbour (Oakwood Community Centre)
• Dates: January 9 - April 24 (some blackout dates)
• Who: adults (kids 14+ who have had previous volleyball experience on a school or rep team are also welcome to join us)
• Cost:
  • $7 drop-in fee per session (please bring exact cash) OR
  • $50 for a 10-time punch card (save when you pay in advance)

The Play:

Standard set play, teams of 6 (with subs if more than 12 players), game play to 25. We'll play as many sets as we can fit into our time block! 

The Twist:
Between each set, enjoy a 5-minute skills session to maximize reps and ball touches. This brief session will help you refresh your techniques and build your confidence, making it a great way to brush up on your skills while having fun.

Social and Supportive Environment:
We know that getting back into a sport after time away can feel intimidating, but rest assured, this program is all about fun and community. Whether you’re here to get active, reconnect with volleyball, or meet others who share your love for the game, you’ll feel right at home. The sessions are designed to foster a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere where everyone can participate and improve at their own pace.

Stay Connected:
We’ll keep you updated and connected through a What’s App channel, where you can find session reminders, updates, and chat with other players. It’s a great way to stay in the loop and make the most out of your experience (you'll be added to the channel after registration info is received, or after your first drop-in session)

How to Join:
Simply drop in on any Thursday night or buy a 10-time punch card for extra savings. Whether you come once in a while or every week, we’d love to see you on the court.
